Expansion thanks to Innovation – Hamacher Maschinenbau GmbH
Since 1949 we – the company Hamacher – produce special machines and sliding door fitting assemblies. In the machine production, patented presses for roof tiles and transport facilities for flat glass were dominating the first two decades. In the next decades the company fokussed on the production of special use machines mainly for belt, glass and needle industry as well as glass fittings mainly for sliding glass doors.
In 1994 Hamacher Beschläge and Hamacher Maschinenbau GmbH were formed out of these buissness areas.
With our quality and flexibility we became a successful machine producer for many large concerns, mainly in the region of Aachen. To become again more attractive for our customers, we forced the development of our own mostly patented machine solutions as for example the wire laying machines, centrifuges, teethed belt production, grout removal machines. In this way we became a partner for development and production of complete machines in great demand including the design, development, mechanics and electrics. Special competence we developed in the field of precision mechanics.
1995 we took over the circular saw producer Wahlen. We produced, sold and enhanced the Wahlen top-quality product portfolio for over 10 years. In the same year the first special profile grinding machine for production of grinded teethed belt moulds was bought and enhanced.
These three buissness areas contribute today in equal measure to the success of our company Hamacher Maschinenbau GmbH.
HOTLINEGLASS – Wire heating fields for laminated glass and car antennas in glass
PVB or EVA foils with placed heating wires fot heatable car windshields: HOTLINEGLASS Glass heating systems remove ice at the outside and mist at the inside of the glass.
Placed inside laminated glass, antenna wires in glass can substitute conventional car antennas.

In order to supply also wired PVB or EVA foils to companies who do not own a Hamacher PSW/PST wire laying machine, we founded the company HOTLINEGLASS GmbH in 2005.
With the production facilities very close to Hamacher Maschinenbau GmbH HotlinegMit Produktionsstandort direkt gegenüber der Hamacher Maschinenbau GmbH, HOTLINEGLASS GmbH is acting successfully on the market with continuously raising turnover and in close cooperation with Hamacher Maschinenbau GmbH.
Modern wire antennas in windshields
Intensive development work leaded to another innovative product: Integrated antennas in lamminated glass can subsitute the optically disturbing car antennas.
The raising demand especially in premium cars leaded again to an expansion of the production capabilities. To satisfy also the high demand on the american market, in 2009 HOTLINEGLASS USA was founded with a cooperation partner.
